star fall
I worked on star fall, a microfiction collection about grief, romance, and loss, from 2020 to 2021.
The format of star fall is a little unique. It comes in the form of fifty vignettes that capture, in a non-chronological order, how two beautifully flawed individuals meet, fall in love, and attempt to figure each other out. It’s also a retrospective look at how one might handle earth-shattering loss and heartbreaking grief.
It reads like a catalogue of faded memories, tinged with the sentimentality of old-world nostalgia.
And above all, it’s a letter — to the people we’ve loved, and those we have yet to.
“star fall” is now on sale at Books Kinokuniya in Singapore, and is in stock at its Ngee Ann City main store, as well as its Bugis and JEM outlets.
You can also purchase “star fall” on the Atelier Arcadia webstore.
